This week’s spotlight is TapMen Games’ RotaMaze. It’s a cool 3D spinning puzzler that’s crazy fun to play. RotaMaze was built with Buildbox in only a month. “It’s one of the fastest games we’ve made,” said Radu Popa from TapMen Games. This unique maze game with spinning action and 3D painting has already been featured in the App Store in the puzzle category in countries across the globe including China, Japan, United Kingdom, France, Germany, Canada, Australia, India, Sweden, Poland, the Netherlands, and more.
So, let’s take a closer look at TapMen Games’ RotaMaze.
RotaMaze – Spin the Maze!
Unlike most maze games where the goal is to find the exit, in RotaMaze, your objective is to explore and paint. Each 3D maze has a colored ball that paints the labyrinth as it rolls. Players must swipe either left or right to spin the maze in the direction that they want the ball to go. To complete each stage, it has to roll through every passageway painting the entire labyrinth. You have to combine a little bit of strategy with gravity to get the ball to move in your favor. RotaMaze is also challenging. As you get further in the game, the maze shapes become larger and more complex.
The graphics in RotaMaze are beautiful too. Players enter a colorful minimalist 3D world with intricate mazes shaped in rectangles, circles, hearts, and stars. It’s a unique twist on maze games and extremely addicting. You’ll find yourself obsessed with figuring out how to paint the whole maze to clear the level.
