This week’s game spotlight is Roto Strike by BGDesigns. Roto Strike has been featured in the ‘Best New Games We Love’ section in the UK, Germany, Spain, Italy, and other countries across Europe.
Roto Strike has also been featured in the arcade category in multiple countries as well, including Japan, South Korea, Russian, and France. Since its release, this sleek arcade shooter has been conquering the charts.
So, let’s take a closer look at BGDesigns’ Roto Strike …
In Roto Strike, your primary mission is to destroy an unknown spacecraft guarded by a fleet of battleships, dangerous obstacles, and traps. But, it’s the game’s psychedelic graphics, ambient soundtrack, and unique action-infused gameplay that sets it apart from your typical space theme shooter.
Your mission in the game, should you choose to accept it, is to take down the shielded enemy station and it’s attacking convoys. Players have to guide their orbiting ship around the vessel blasting away at its protective barrier. The game becomes increasingly challenging as small, but very lethal battleships begin to attack. You can only move your ship clockwise or counterclockwise to avoid shots and incoming obstacles. Throughout the game, you’ll also encounter different enemies and rotating objects that you have to either kill or avoid.
There are 40 exciting levels in Roto Strike that are as difficult to master as they are addicting. As the game progresses, you’ll run into more complex defense barriers and enemy formations. The power-ups in this game are pretty cool as well. Certain power-ups allow you to steer two ships at once to assist in attacks. There are also power-ups that double your weapon’s speed and damage rate. Each level in the game offers players something fresh and new. It’s a lot of fun to play.
The graphics in Roto Strike are stunning. The entire game features colorful psychedelic graphics and an ambient soundtrack that’s out of this world.
If you’re a fan of classic arcade games or space shooters, then you’ll love Roto Strike.
Roto Strike is now available for download on iOS.
