Every week we highlight a new game built with Buildbox from one of the creators in our no-code community. The games we select for our special ‘spotlight’ picks are indie mobile games that have a creative theme, gameplay concept, mechanics or perform well on one of the app store charts.
This week’s game spotlight pick is Maze Through Time by Wooden Pickle Games. Developed using Buildbox 3, this creative puzzle game challenges players to solve various puzzles while traveling through time. It’s available not only on iOS and Google Play but also on Buildbox World.
So, let’s take a closer look at Wooden Pickle Games’ Maze Through Time!
Maze Through Time: Solve Mazes, Save the World!
In the game Maze Through Time, the world clock has been destroyed, posing a danger to the very fabric of time. So, it’s up to you to save the world. Using various portals, players must travel across several decades, from the 1900s to the present day, collecting the missing gears to restore the clock. Aiming and shooting will reveal the invisible path and help you locate the key to unlocking the next portal. Unfortunately, there are also deadly obstacles like rotating and falling gears blocking your way. You have to think strategically and quickly as you navigate your steam-powered vehicle through each maze. If you get hit or fall off the path, it’s game over!
As you progress, the mazes become complicated with more obstacles and enemies. There’s even a showdown with a time boss to move into the present century. It’s a unique combination of a maze puzzler and shooter that’s a lot of fun to play.
If you’re a fan of puzzle games and enjoy solving mazes, you’ll love playing Maze Through Time.
We hope today’s spotlight has inspired you to make a game with Buildbox!
