Buildbox Game Spotlight: Maze Breaker

Maze Breaker

This week’s game spotlight pick is Maze Breaker by AaroArts. Built using Buildbox, this puzzler is a new take on the retro brick breaker arcade games of the past. It combines classic controls with stunning visuals, insane power-ups, and infinite levels.

Maze Breaker was featured in the ‘New Games We Love‘ section on the app store and around the globe. It has been featured over 130 times on app store homepages worldwide, from the U.S. and Canada to Australia and the United Kingdom. Maze Breaker is also ranked in the Top 5 puzzle games category in six countries.

So, let’s take a closer look at AaroArts’ Maze Breaker!

Maze Breaker – A Fun Maze vs. Brick Breaker Game

Reminiscent of those old-school brick-breaker games, Maze Breaker adds a maze challenge and some very cool shooting mechanics and effects into the mix to give players a unique puzzle experience. Using a ball and paddle, players must smash the blocks in the maze to clear the level.

All it takes is a quick swipe of the paddle to jumpstart the brick-smashing action in Maze Breaker. But, players must watch out! There are also spikes hidden that will destroy your ball. It’s game over if you hit a spike or accidentally let your ball fall!

Throughout the game, you’ll also encounter stars and runners. You can also hit stars, but you must catch them with your paddle. Gold stars earn you instant stars, which are added to your score. There are also little rings called runners in the maze. When you hit a runner, you can unleash a powerful strike.

However, what really makes the game unique and fun is the ability to use ammo to blast away at the bricks too. It adds an extremely fun element to the puzzler.

So, if you’re a fan of classic brick breaker games and enjoy a good puzzle challenge, you should definitely check out Maze Breaker!
