Every week we highlight a new game built with Buildbox from one of the creators in our no-code community. The games we select for our special ‘spotlight’ picks are indie mobile games that have a creative theme, gameplay concept, mechanics or performed well on one of the app store charts. This week’s game spotlight pick is Let’s Mow by Moland Websystem & Joyride Apps. Developed using Buildbox, this relaxing 3D grass-cutting game takes lawn care to a whole new level!
So, let’s take a closer look at Joyride Apps’ Let’s Mow!
Let’s Mow: A Relaxing Grass-Cutting Game
In Let’s Mow, players are transported to an urban city on a mission to mow! It’s a relaxing 3D grass-cutting game in which you’re assigned the responsibility of mowing the lawn in different parts of a busy metropolis. In the midst of people and cars, you’re able to slip into a world of your own where you’re just mowing grass. There’s no time limit, so you can carefully choose your path. It’s both therapeutic and addicting.
You have to mow a new lawn at each stage while avoiding bumping into the wire fences or other obstacles scattered around the unkempt grass too much. Players must avoid trees, stones, abandoned tires, barrels, and more. People and an elusive alley cat will also serve as obstacles. If you hit a person, animal, or collide too many times while mowing, it’s game over!
Clearing each level earns coins that you can use to upgrade from a manual mower to a big riding mower. Plus, there are a total of 50 challenging levels to complete.
If you’re a fan of 3D games and looking for a relaxing challenge, you’ll love playing Let’s Mow!
Let’s Mow is now available for download on iOS and Google Play.
Congratulations to Moland Websystem & Joyride Apps on the release of Let’s Mow. It’s their second Buildbox 3 game and very impressive. Adbox is also integrated into Let’s Mow. We sat down with Haavard Moland, the founder of Joyride Apps, and asked him about his experience using Adbox. “The implementation process was incredibly easy and seamless,” he said in response… “I will definitely use Adbox for many future projects as well.” It’s great to hear that no-code creators like Moland have positive experiences using Adbox in their games.
We hope today’s spotlight has inspired you to make a game with Buildbox!
