This week’s game spotlight is Hichi Pang by Timemango and Rich & Company Games. Built with Buildbox Classic, this hypercasual platformer is an insanely fun mobile tribute to the classic PC game “Hichi and Friends” released 20 years ago. With cute characters, eye-popping graphics, multiple game modes, and 30 challenging levels to complete, Hichi Pang is a must-play.
So, let’s take a closer look at Hichi Pang!
Hichi Pang – Never Be Done
In Hichi Pang, players get to embark on an epic adventure with the balloon fairy Hichi. After an unexpected crash leaves Hichi and her friends stranded on a magical island created by an evil witch’s powers, it’s up to you to help her locate her pals and find a way back home to the Balloon Kingdom.
The island is full of dangers and hidden traps. There’s lava, moving thorns, and falling platforms that you must avoid at all costs. Hichi is also armed with balloons that she can release and use to help her jump onto hard-to-reach platforms or in a crunch to escape a deadly spot.
However, you have to be more than just careful and strategic in Hichi Pang to solve the puzzle and score high. You must be quick too. Each level is timed. If you don’t collect the coins and make it to the exit before the timer ends, it’s game over! There’s a total of 30 challenging levels to explore. Each zone takes you to a new location with different dangers lurking around every corner. As you progress in the game, you’re also able to unlock five adorable playable characters.
Hichi Pang is a fun, hyper-casual platformer, from the charming animated graphics to the difficult-to-solve puzzles.
If you’re a fan of the original classic or just enjoy physics-based platformers, you’ll love playing Hichi Pang!
