Every week we highlight a new game built with Buildbox from one of the creators in our no-code community. The games we select for our special ‘spotlight’ picks are indie mobile games that have a creative theme, gameplay concept, mechanics or performed well on one of the app store charts. This week’s game spotlight pick is Gravity Dream by Lemon & Limes Studios. Developed using Buildbox, this puzzler blends strategy and gravity-defying physics for a challenging game that’s equally addictive to play.
So, let’s take a closer look at Lemon & Limes Studios’ Gravity Dream!
Gravity Dream: Race to the Finish Line
In Gravity Dream, your goal is to collect fuel balls to safeguard your ship and propel it to the finish line. Each level is split into two sections: a ball zone and a fly zone. Players must shoot different colored balls, multiply them and catch them again to power their ship to make it to the finish line before the timer runs out.
Speed and strategy are key components in this hyper casual puzzler. There are additional numbered blocks that you may demolish. Plus rotating barriers that you must use wisely in order to gather all the balls and earn a high score. As you race against the 30-second clock, the game grows increasingly difficult. If your balls or the time run out before your ship reaches the finish line, it’s game over! However, successfully clearing a level earns extra time bonuses and gems that can be used to unlock new items to help you catch more balls. The gameplay concept is really unique and entertaining.
