Buildbox Free 

With Buildbox Free, you’ll not only be able to make unlimited games, but you’ll have access to new features like brainboxes, a game-changer for no-code creators. Brainboxes make 2D and 3D game development super easy. Instead of writing endless lines of code, you can just click to add ‘brains’ to any image or 3D model. Your character will be able to move or behave instantly based on the brainbox you added. Much like the components feature in Buildbox 2, brainboxes will make full 2D and 3D game creation, both user-friendly and lightning-fast. 

There will also be well-over 100 preloaded 2D and 3D assets included in the free version to help you get started building out your games. So, you don’t have to worry about scouring the internet for free game art or paying for graphics. We have you covered! With Buildbox Free, we wanted to make it as simple as possible to dive right in and start creating. You’re going to have so much fun playing around with this software. We can’t wait to see what you create. 

Another feature in Buildbox Free is smart assets. These predefined asset templates let you add unique gameplay mechanics to your game. We based them on the most current mobile game trends to help give you an edge in the app store. You can make a variety of different games from space shooters to 3D rolling ball style games and much more with smart assets. 

For those developers who prefer to create more complicated games, it’s possible too. Our advanced node system allows you to add logic to any object or character quickly. All you have to do is add a node. If you want to customize your game further, there’s an option to tweak and modify any node. Users also can create their own nodes with low-code. Other additions to Buildbox Free will be new nodes, mindmaps, and easier to navigate asset bar, and of course, the ability to create 2D worlds.
