Let them do the work, they are constantly working on it. Since they don't have anyother thing to do but upgrade Buildbox.

Do you expect major changes every couple of weeks? You clearly have no idea how developing softwares work.
Bugs are everywhere. Doesn't matter whether is a small-medium company like Buildbox, or a multi-billion, multinational corporation like Microsoft or Adobe.Things get better overtime, not worse.

Customers of BB and as a game builders they see what other software's contains, they need important features that will help them build Competitive game that are missed from BB.

Major features that will affect the game directly not side feature that will not help building a better and Competitive game..

Right, bugs are existing in all software. But minor bugs are accepted, crashes are not. Especially if there is a very minimal support for recovery. When a crash leads to data loss, data corruption and data inconsistency then there is a very valid point to criticize the product.

And it is super easy to implement an auto saving and incremental saving (or file versioning system) which would avoid most of the frustrations.

I must admit that I would prefer a much quicker support when it comes to bugfixing. It really seems that with a new update only a few are fixed and much more are created. The strange thing is that the new ones do not have anything to do with the bugfixes from the changelog. Like the ads for Android not working in 2.2, how could that possibly go wrong with the fixes they did? New features also work mostly 50% of how they should (like the purchase 1 time button). This doesn't look very professional and sounds to me that behind the scenes a chaotic development is going on. It even seems out of their hands sometimes. With the price tag this should be handled different in my humble opinion.

Being said that, I don't have a clue how difficult it is to develop a software like Buildbox. This is in no way a accusation but rather an opinion from a worried customer who loves to work with Buildbox. I'm lucky because my game in development is working almost 100% as I want it to (Buildbox 2.1.1). There is only one bug that really bothers me and it is the flicker when changing from one UI to another. The worst thing in my case is that when this bug will be fixed I won't be able to update because Buildbox 2.2 already has changed some mechanics regarding the rotation of actions that doesn't work anymore with my gameplay. So I have to live with this bug and hope others won't notice. On the other hand, I really am praying that there is no additional bug I don't know about with ads when exporting my game. And well, this I think, says it all. A customer that needs to pray to make things working isn't really a happy customer at all. Therefore I can completely understand your opinion lqifqkt.

I'm not a negative person though, there are a lot of moments when working with Buildbox when I come across a feature I didn't know about and silently give props to the developers for making it happen. Like the UI animations or the event observer. Man are these cool things to play with. After all I believe that Buildbox is still in the very early stages and we have to give it time to evolve. As the signature from Sean says: Restrictions breed creativity! This is always true and with Buildbox probably a little more. Great games like Color Switch or Slip Away were made with Buildbox (and I know of a few others that are pending release) and this makes me confident to keep trying myself.

Indeed releasing an update with major bugs is not a professional way

    Thank you

    Thank you for this post

I started this post to open BB developers eyes and say:

"We don't want to reach the end of the year where 2.5 is released and BB game builders prefer using 2.1, or reaching the end of the year and life bar or any simple request is not included"

Shooting an enemy and increasing a score has been pretty standard since tank battle in like 1980 or whenever...before there was even arcades using I television...I would certainly feel that would have been a BB v1.0 thing.

I did not know this. No didn't find a way and there is even a BB customer feature request for it. Aren't enemies always objects?

It would solve everything, If it has beta and stable channel.

Those who can't wait for new updates can still enjoy the new releases more frequently but can understand it's beta and might have issue, Also that will help BuildBox support team to address most issue and bugs reported by a wider testers, While other customers can still update safely on the stable releases, And understand what changes and fixes got addressed.
