Buildbox Update: Android SDK Level 35 Now Supported

By August 12, 2025Buildbox

We’ve rolled out updates to Buildbox Classic, Buildbox 3, and Buildbox 4 that bring full support for Android Target API Level 35, meeting Google Play’s August 2025 requirement. This means your games will remain fully compliant with the latest Play Store policies.

This update also ensures 16KB page size compliance, a requirement coming in November 2025. By addressing both of these changes now, you can continue developing and publishing without worrying about last-minute fixes or delays.

What’s New & Improved

  • Android Target API upgraded to Level 35 for Google Play compliance.
  • Android libraries updated for 16KB page size support, ensuring compatibility with future standards.

These updates apply to all three Buildbox products, Classic, 3, and 4, so no matter which version you use, you’re covered.

Keeping your games running smoothly across devices and store requirements is a priority for our team. We know how disruptive compliance changes can be, especially for indie developers or small studios juggling multiple projects.

From improving stability to staying ahead of industry changes, we’re focused on helping you create better games, faster. Whether you’re working on your first title or your next chart-topper, Buildbox is here to support you every step of the way.

Update your software today to take advantage of these changes and ensure your projects are ready for the latest Google Play requirements.
