Text Messed Up

Just got my game on a few iPhones, but all of the text is messed up. Anybody know how to fix this?

 

I think this is a known issue with 2.3.4.

Try updating to BB 2.3.5 and see if the problem is resolved
You could also try downgrading to 2.3.3 if you need to.

 

It is version 2.3.5. But if I downgrade I won't be able to open the bbdoc in an older version right?

 

Is it because I started this game in 2.3.4?

 

try adding the fonts again. Or removing some of the text and adding it again

Is this on a device or BB Preview?

 

No, its a font inside of BB. And I'm testing on a device

 

Strange.
Must be the bug that was present in 2.3.4 still.

What font is it?
Does it appear in BB Preview?

 

Their is multiple fonts and no it does not show in the preview

 

We’ll have to wait and see what @ZackGriset says.

Until then send Support a BBDoc so they have a copy.

If you don’t want to wait you could try 2.3.3 if you’re not too far in your game, or maybe even reinstall BB 2.3.5 and update Xcode.

Try to save your file with a new name in 2.3.5. Try to optimize atlases and rebuild. Try to re-add the font as a new font. Try to re-ad the labels or change the font in the label from one to another. This is supposedly fixed in 2.3.5 as stated in the changelog. It was a problem in 2.3.4 though.

 

I've tried these and their not working.

Hey, thanks for letting us know about this. If you haven't already, please email support and send in your bbdoc. We will definitely need to look at this one because it was something that should have already been fixed. Yeah, we need to check this out for sure. We will jump on this today and figure it out asap.

Okay awesome man. I talked it over with the team and we are looking into this. It's definitely weird and we will find out what's going on.
