Here it is! We've just decided to finish up the last 5-6 games we have in dev then get out of the mobile market. We are publishing them under a failed label we started Massive Indie. The whole game of trying to get visibility has really taken the fun out of making games so we are going to start focusing more on steam releases with maybe BuildBox and definitely Unreal once we get our backlog of mobile games released. https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/super-coin-puncher/id1085704567?ls=1&mt=8 https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.massiveindie.scp
Also, fun fact, for no apparent reason at all you cannot find this game by simply searching the google play store, even if you put the title in quotes. In fact, none of our games can be found on the play store unless you have a direct link. So, you know, the uphill battle has gotten worse.
We all pay the same fee for same rules , no ? did you set up something wrong in your account ? or ...
Nope, you could search our games last week and now you cannot. All I did was publish a new game. I'm not worried about it. No one would have found it anyway through organic search.
Meh. Really just want to have fun making games at this point. IT hasn't been fun for a long time because of the whole publisher requirement just to make money. It's become stressful. I don't like my passion being stressful.
I love this game. So glad it's finally released. I admire your attitude regarding publishers too. It's refreshing to see someone Dev for fun Sorry about the Play Store, I hope you get the searches resolved soon.
I like this one a lot. But it's very sad to see our games doing that bad. I can completely understand and relate to what you say. For me it is the same, unfortunately. Also, I tried to leave a review but for some weird reason I can't leave one. Is there a new rule from Apple that you need to have the game installed for a certain time until the option to give a review appears?
This game is amazing, played it and was already addicted. Regarding getting your game out there, have you done any marketing campaigns? Facebook ads, instagram ads, or submit to apple for a feature? I did a marketing campaign on a decent game for a test and received over 1,000 downloads from one ad. You can control how much you spend and it will most definitely get coin puncher out there.
That is strange! How do you submit to Apple for a feature? Most likely a few hundred £$ for several thousand ads. If it was as easy as doing 1 ad, everyone would be doing it. I'm not even sure Facebook campaigns etc offer 1 advert, do they? :O
