Hi, I'm interested in buying BuildBox. But my interest in creating games is in Physics Puzzle. Is it possible to create games like Cut the Rope, Brain It On, Bad Piggies, Sprinkle Island, Cat Physics and the list goes on in Physics Puzzle category? If yes, can somebody show me quick tutorial on how to do this? Many thanks in advance.
Hmmm...im thinking cut the rope yes...would be tricky but could be done.But you can totally make physics games. The key would be accomplishing a goal in game that wins the level....so with a little thinking you could achieve this.
Cut the rope gameplay is possible. Use tiny physics balls and connect them one by one. Set each ball to destroy character too. Drop a joystick in the gamefield UI and make sure direct movement is set to your character( also set the characters x and y speed to be the same). Make your character a small icon like a pair of scissors or a knife and drop an action set to strike where it spawns.
