Paid games often work poorly, unless you already have a very prominent account inside the store. I would recommend that it be free, and then implement purchases within.

First off, join some Facebook groups aimed at parents and kids and post it. Also look for kids fb pages, send a message to them and ask if they would like to post about it. Make sure the page has at least 100,000 likes. Also post in other game foums. Like toucharcade etc. They have an android section as well. Perhaps send to local shool bords. Their fb pages etc. Depending on your age, your local news may want to cover it. They are into young folk making apps not such. Also make sure you have a fb page for your game co.
