I wanted the camera to follow my character and I've modified my game frame to be the exact same size as my character.
I'm playing around with the 360 degree shooter preset. I've removed the character bullets and the rotate function and moved the joystick controller to the left side of the screen. I'm still using up, down, left and right arrows to control my character in the Game Preview.

This works until I hit an object with my character. My character stops, but my camera keeps moving while I have a movement key pressed. How do I attach my game frame to my character so that when my character hits an obstacle the game frame stops moving regardless of whether or not a movement key is being pressed?

if you have "Forced Movement" checked, it will force the movement .
If your character is "stuck" behind the object it will be released when that object is deleted , distance added to "Back Deletion Threshold" from World Settings.
