You need to keep track of character count in the scene.
Then check if that number is equal to 0 then trigger the gameover event.
You need to set android:exported property to true for your main activity.

Just update your target sdk in android build.gradle file to latest

About fps rate if i preview the game in safe mode it runs on 60fps but on fast it runs around 30 fps and then slows down to 10 or 15
i see the drop in fps rate on the latest version of buildbox.
