animated characters i have bought in the past have been $15.00 for the whole lot, Not per frame. That is way to expensive $10-$15 per frame.

I've had graphic designers make me exclusive game asset kits which would include a background, main character (fully animated), 2-3 enemies (fully animated) & 2-3 objects for only $150-$200 I wouldn't pay $200-$300 for one animated 2D character, 3D maybe.

I just purchased from an artist - 40 characters, 4 worlds- including 4 backgrounds, layered by 3, 4 different tiled platforms all different styles and colors, 20 enemies, all assets a game needs - clouds, trees, stars, coins, gems, and more. All UI buttons and elements. $160.00 He doesn't upload to stores, only does custom work.
That's a great deal buddy. Yeah I don't see why anyone would pay $200+ for one animated 2D character.
Yea it is a good deal. And yea 200 for one character thats crazy. Unless if it made me unlimited coffee then maybe i would think about it.
