What Is Rotational Mapper?

I see it as something I can add onto my objects but I still don't know what it does!

 

I couldn't get this working myself. But I am guessing that you can import a texture which then moves around to orientation of where your ball (character) is moving in the game field. So it looks like a real rolling ball.

Holy moly. What is this? 3D crazy voodoo? Can you tell us how you did that? I can't even get close to understand how it works. But it looks awesome.
