so I saw another thread about a game called dot lines, and to answer the question i was going to download the game and see if I could tell how they did it, and in searching for the game, I found this... and what am I looking at here? @TreySmith ?
The Line Zen was a follow up or sequel of The Line. If you play them both you will see the difference.
Ketchapp had the rights to the line, which is why the line zen was also published through them. You can update or sequel your own game.
actually, a gameplay is not copyrightable, what's copyrightable in a game are the characters, places (if there is a story for example) ...etc, but (fortunately) you can't claim copyright for a gameplay so even if those was published by two different publishers, I don't think that ketchapp could be able to sue the other publisher, maybe about the colors but not sure...
