With all this talk going around about BuildBox being over priced etc (I've been contributing to the complaining quite a bit)...I just want to clarify that I appreciate what the BB devs have created for us. Sure, I don't agree with all of their business strategies, and I believe some improvements could be made, but BuildBox is still a great and extremely useful program for us aspiring game developers. Thank you @TreySmith @Andy
It's important to look at the positives; BuildBox has helped me, and so many others, tremendously. Not yet, per say, since I haven't created a hit game and my wallet still closes easily. However, I would be spending SO much more time coding a game from scratch if I had stuck with that method. I'm glad I took the risk, and I hope it pays off in the end. If I do somehow make a successful game, I'll be sure to promote BB just like the Color Switch creator has done -- even if the game isn't made with BuildBox.
It's a picture I took a few years ago when I first got my webcam...That's the only picture that got saved when I reset my PC (to get rid of unneeded drivers)
Actually I haven't made any games yet lol just a lot of ideas. I'm working on it though! I just need to fix some issues and find good artists, any suggestions?
Hmm, you can check out Fivver for quick low-cost art or you could also try to do your own art. Plenty of tutorials out there.
I can help! Btw, I've made a Game UI and it's completely free. Hope you'll find it useful. Cheers https://gumroad.com/l/pixelGameUI
