Software Crashes Many Times

Hello!

Myself Rishabh Mehta from India. Right now I'm using Buildbox version: 2.3.6 and it crashes many times when I start playing my game on Buildbox. I've done almost everything for my game and now I'm just polishing my game so that I can upload my game on store. I'm unable to see what changes I can do for my game due to this problem.Whether it is problem of software or the game that I created?

Kindly suggest the best solution so that I can continue.

 

2.3.6 was very stable for me, do you have more than a normal/regular number of big graphics or sounds etc in the game ?

 

But my Graphic File size is just 606kb and also I'm unable to reduce Atlases. My current Atlases are 6. How can I reduce it?

 

To reduce the atlases you have to go to the view menu and from the you have to select atlases. A new window containing all of your atlases will open up. From there you have to select optimise. After that click on rebuild. Let me know if it works for you.
P.S: I'm from India too!!

 

After doing this,still I have 6 Atlases and in that 5 of them are only background images. Please help me because I just have 2 days left.

 

Maybe your images are too large. You should have used smaller images in order to achieve small amount of atlases.

 

I've choose Background image size 1920x1024 i.e HD. If it is a wrong image size then what will be the actual size that should be used in game that works with every device.

 

1920 x 1024!! That's too big man!!!!! That's why you have 5 atlases with backgrounds. You should've used something around 400px.

 

Sorry bro I don't know about this thing. But I have one question If I choose 400px background image then will it work on other device? I mean It should not look blur.

 

What do you mean you only have 2 days left? You can't publish with the demo version.

 

No man! 400px is enough for a device to play in. If you play it in a device you will face no problem. To solve your problem you have to compress your images and then put into BB. Best of luck. Let me know if this works for you. Anyways, what is your BBDOC size?

 

I don't have a demo version. I purchased software and I've a license version.

 

I didn't understand your comment. I was just trying to save you time in case you didn't try to export a build yet.

Your images are way too big. Go through each one and resize them and replace the ones you have in there.
