Very excited today boxers, ROCK PAPER AVOID has dropped as a pre-release for both IOS and Android IOS Pre-release Android Pre-release Its classic Rock Paper Scissors twisted into a character switching avoidance game. Your character is either the Rock, the Paper or the Scissors and you need to slide left or right to choose the correct pathway and get through the obstacle. The concept was developed from merging two separate and proven game ideas (colour switching avoidance game) with the all time classic (rock paper scissors) into a game that is unique and unlike anything else on the app store. Additionally the merging of the two concepts brings an extra layer of complexity for the user. A traditional colour switching game relies on colour association as the game speeds up. Intuitively the same occurs with Rock Paper Avoid, however each character has some form of association with every option, meaning a player can often die simply by making a split second wrong association. An example of this is if you were the rock character, rushed for a selection you either 1. Match the object and try to pass through another rock, it’s a natural instinct but in this case you would die 2. Snap Associate the rock with paper, and curse as you explode because paper beats rock: or 3. Snap associate the rock with scissors and continue onto the next obstacle This extra layer adds complexity not present in either of the original game concepts We have developed the game with 3 Different Game Modes (with varying speed), 175 Levels and unlimited Play.
