Portrait Direction Background

Hey all!

We have just started working on out first portrait game and we are having a difficult time sorting the background, although we have chosen the portrait settings, the background still loops on the horizontal direction making it very odd looking. How can we fix this problem?

You need to rotate the background to 90 or -90, depending if your going up or down.
So yes you need to make your background to suit being rotated.

 

Playsgames6666 is correct. I was going to suggest that you create a new game and check out the 'Racing' gameplay type, this example does exactly what you want to achieve.
