Anyone else have issues with music not looping correctly? My audio designer has spent ages trying to get perfect loops for me in BB, she says it loops fine on her end (with multiple different files too) but BB does not seem to play the game!!
What is the BB version? Does it happen in the preview? Does it happen in different devices? Does it happen on Android or IOS? Keep in mind that when the music runs out, there is a quiet time. (Milliseconds). You can use an effect of appearing or dissolving music.
I have tried in 2.2.8 and 2.2.9 Beta 3. It happens in the preview. It happens on the device(s) It happens on iOS Not sure about Android.
I notice it have 0.3-0.4 seconds pause, from what i remember (i didn't do too much attention) in wich BB version looping was perfect ? and to be honest in UE4 it's the same and it's bigger engine .
100% seamless looping of audio, unfortunately, is not trivial. We ARE fully aware of the issue and plan to address it in time. I can't give any timeframe at this time.
The problem is one of my games, music loops absolutely perfect and first time (different track but still). This current game just wont work. Update to this: My audio person did some more work for me and I finally have it looping good with no jumpiness or rough transitions, however, on the preview it is delayed but I have tested on 2.2.9 Beta 3 on an iPhone 6s+ running 10.3.3 DP 1 and works flawlessly. Another update to this: It turns out that reducing my background music's level in Audacity and exporting as MP3 made the music loop incorrectly for some strange reason.
I am having the same problem , do you know how to correct it ? By the way I extracted a portion of mp3 file in Audacity by trimming it and exported again for MP3 and I am using that and having problem because it is not seamless. Any way of correcting this ?
