I've set the background speed to 0 and lowered the time warp, but objects in my scene still rise to the top. I want everything to remain stationary unless a key frame or movement property says other wise. I don't currently have any key frames, but I'm going to be adding some once I get this fixed.

Is there something I'm missing? Why do the objects keep rising, and how can I stop them?

There are some templates that can't be reset even if you set the speed to 0. Try with one that already is static. And it's not the background speed you want to change but an option when you click on the world. It says 'Forced Movement'. Set everything to 0. But again, some templates still move even if you reset this.

If I create another world using a "moving template", would I be able to change the forced movement then? Also, do you know the names of some templates I can use?

I found if you delete the forced movement and add it again with everything set zero that it often works.
