    Hi
I'm working on a neat little jumping game.
AS usual, the character jumps up higher to the next platform as you work your way upwards.
    iPhone simulator works great.
However, when I switch to iPad simulator the character jumps beyond the visible upper screen.
How do I prevent this from happening?
Do I have to reduce the jump force or bounce force of the character and then re-adjust every single level/scene?
I have included screen shot of iPhone, iPad sim and character settings.
    Thanks

This has to do with the ratio of the iPad which is 4:3 instead of 16:9 of the iPhone. So yes, basically you will need to reduce the jump size. Before you design your levels or scenes it is always a good idea to check the physics and the general behavior in all different devices to see if it works out. Also, try to play with the fit to height and fit to width settings. In both screenshots the character jumps exactly to the same point so if you change it to fit to height instead of fit to width as you have now it probably gets solved.
