I recently came across an article from Google regarding what its required to get your app featured and I must say I messed up big time For instance, in one of the requirements, Google gave a list of app icons that should be used for Google Apps and I noticed I have been using iTunes icons on must of my games. Is anyone able to share what we need to guide against when prepping your game for Google Store and iTunes Store from experience? What colors to combine, screenshots style. Also when your game does not have achievement, do you just put anything in there just to get the page created? Not sure if Buildbox Publisher would want to share their secret but for subscribers, that could be an added bonus
Read this article as well. Not sure on the buttons, but if they say, then i guess maybe you should. But then you just have to look at Ketchapps games, they are identical on both stores. And their are some other featured games that have the same as well. So i don't really know. And for achievements, yes just put in any info, and complete whats required. Until someone shares their wisdom on adding achievements to BB games. I have seen a couple of games made with BB in google play who achievements working, just have to learn how.
I don't know what article they are talking about but this one is pretty interesting: http://blog.prolificinteractive.com/2014/08/27/take-get-google-play-feature/
They all point to same book which Google published as an app - https://play.google.com/books/reader?printsec=frontcover&output=reader&id=O2a5CgAAQBAJ&pg=GBS.PP1 http://developer.android.com/distribute/essentials/index.html
Not sure why it jumps from page 34 to 148 but the guide is also available in PDF: https://commondatastorage.googleapi..._play/v2/web/secrets_to_app_success_v2_en.pdf They also released a 10 chapter video series with the second edition of this book: https://goo.gl/H2ExmH Source: http://android-developers.blogspot.mx/2015/11/an-updated-app-guide-and-new-video-tips.html
