Gap In Between Levels...help!!

Hi Everyone i'm designing a seamless vertical runner. I have objects bordering the sides of the screen as show in the image below. When there is transition between levels there's a gap space that is very noticeable and i want to get rid of it. How could i get rid of this blank space? I could use the help.
