Hi, Wanted to share some of my experience in mobilegamegraphics.com i bought some very nice asset from there, and the good thing is they also offering some free stuff, like backgrounds, characters etc. So i decided to post here because i wanted to let some game development out there or planning to hired some artist to build it, why would you hired it if you can bought is some the great great assets. designing own assets= attract more business/publishers + 100% credibility. of course free stuff is very useful and helpful but when you want to attract publishers/ sponsorships, they ask for own credibilities.
Also, when you download free stuff, lots of others will be using the same exact assets. You don't want to create a game and see another game be using the same exact assets.
That is true, however, free stuff allows you to get some ideas plus mock up your game quicker and show it to your artist what you have meant...
