This may sound like a dumb question but in the game Dot Lines https://www.buildbox.com/portfolio/dot-line/ (image below (which is amazing!) when you tap to jump to what Im assuming is a platform how his the character being moved left or right? and is it actually a platform your landing on. Greatly Appreciated!
Would it make sense to make a platform with a small width and add a spawner so that when the player lands on (the spawned platforms moving left) they are carried to the left? I was also playing with friction but I can't seem to get the character to stick to the platform. Or is this totally the wrong approach and is there a better way?
