    Hello.

So I’ve just started a new game and the plan is to have a bunch of levels.

They will get quite tough so I’m thinking maybe I should do different colours of the same levels so the user doesn’t get bored of seeing the same while they try to complete it.

Will this be worth it? Making several colour variations of the same levels, or will it take up too much memory and increase loading times, so not be worth it?

Or maybe I should keep each level to its own colour and just alternate them instead?

I know I like to see colour changes in games.

It depends on the graphics of the game.
If you use geometric shapes you can vary the colors for the same level without worrying about the memory,
because the sprites would be very small/light.

But in the opposite case, with stunning detailed graphics, it would be better to try to optimize the memory.

I personally think it would be great to have a same level in different colors in a hard game.
