Collect Keys

Hello guys,

i want to make a "collect Keys to open a door" game.

Is this possible in BuildBox?
I really hope to get your help !

Maybe there are some hacks the achieve this.

Yep. All possible. There are several threads on the forum just search for them. One very good post to start with is this one:

Buildbox 2 also has menu jumps so you can jump from one world to another. Ah and there is the event observer which could also be used for this.

 

I mean it like this. Collect the RED rounded Keys and the PINK rounded Portal reveals.
Is there a way to achieve this ?

 

i think you can make something like that with same tutorial just duplicate the process / or hide the portal with decoration platforms and link it to the keys using connection then the player when is going to collects the keys the platforms is going to disappear one by one and reveal the portal location. however there's is a bug with action that is linked to platform you will need to play with it to get it work
