How can you have an object cast a shadow when it's set not to collide with anything? Is this possible?
Is the shadow going to be turned on and off based on if it is over a certain area? What type of game? Can you post an example of what you want to accomplish? I have a game I'm working on where the player moves over a certain area (top down) where a shadow needs to appear. I use an action with no specific action except to add an overlay to the character which is just a shadow over the ground.
My enemy casts a shadow from a light (BB Feature) and when it's killed, the destroy animation blows up into little circles. I want those circles to cast shadows like the enemy (or a platform) does. But I don't want them to collide. But unfortunately, it seems that it must "collide" in order to cast a shadow...
