Best Monetization Strategy

    Hey there Boxers!

    Quick question:
    I have a game with multiple characters and multiple levels. Player can collect coins in levels.
    Its a freemium game with no ads.

    What do you think which (and why) monetization strategy is better:

    Strategy A:
    - Additional characters can be unlocked with coins
    - Additional levels can be unlocked with IAP (onetime IAP will unlock all)

    Strategy B:
    - Additional characters can be unlocked with IAP (onetime IAP will unlock all)
    - Additional levels can be unlocked with coins

    Hey mate, my suggestion would be always no freemium game, better place ads and allow user to unlock character by collecting coins and giving coins through rewarded video. This would work much more better. because the reality is that nowadays don't expect that you release game and you will get organic downloads, time has changed. free version hardly gets installed, then it's not a good idea to go with paid version

    Thanks for the advice!
    I just added both to the game: Rewarded video to get coins and "unlock all" by IAP.
    So users with thin wallet can watch ads and the other ones just throw a dollar :)

    Strategy C:
    - Additional characters can be unlocked with coins
    - Additional levels can be unlocked with coins
    - Coins in Levels
    - Sell coins in APP.

    Problem with this is that I have to come up with a solution to restore the purchased coins if a user deletes the app and reinstalls.
    At the moment player can purchase 1.000.000 coins to unlock everything. These 1.000.000 coins are set up as one time purchase, not consumable. Let's see if Apple accepts this.
