What is the best way to use and how does it work ?

We have been trying to delete atlases that the images don't exist anymore but they are still there.

If I have a game with 150 levels - does that mean 150 Atlases ?

    Thank you

    OK click on View>Atlases
Then click each atlas and click rebuild
I think that should clear out unused atlases

Take it to the next level by clicking optimize :D

Maybe I misunderstood you but have you already done this - Remove unused Image Objects

Currently there is not a lot of fine control over the Atlases in the Atlas Editor... the most useful things are:

    1) Optimize (removes extra images, similar to remove unused image objects) ->
    2) Optimize Atlases (consolidates all the atlases)
    3) Change width or height of Atlas if you know what you are doing.

    1) Then you are still "using" the images somewhere
    2) "Optimize Atlases" is a button
    3) Don't touch this unless you fully know what you are doing, 99% of the time there is no need.

    REALLY APPRECIATE IT !!!
But I don't have the same optimise buttons as you do.
The only thing I have is the number 3.
It seems like the only way to use all of the images and still keep it in a small number of Atlases, is to change the size. Where will I see the impact ? how can I move images between Atlases ?

Ae you looking at an empty file? You need to have images loaded to fully realize the Atlas Editor. Again, you don't typically need to do anything in here other than #1 and #2. You can't move images between atlases using the Atlas Editor. Don't change the height and width.

Of course not. The only button I have is add atlas.
I still don't understand from what u r saying how to make it in less atlases if I don't control the location.
If you say don't change the height and width - so what can I do ?
how to combine more in less atlases ?

I suggest that you send your BBDOC to support@buildbox.com to get more specific help. There is some important details missing or there is a much larger issue here.
