I want to make the game easy at the start and then making it difficult while moving forward...BUT i want the game to be endless and I have randomize the scenes...But when I do that the difficult scenes pop up in the start and that I don't want.. How can i make it in a sequence without stacking the scenes and the game remains endless....?? @Christoph @trudnai @jcalle @heathclose Any ideas...Anyone?
i asked this question before and this link will help you https://www.buildbox.com/forum/index.php?threads/stack-and-align-scenes-together.156/#post-938
Hey @Jaky1 You have to play with the start and the stop parameters of the scenes. Read the threads, there are other threads as well about this subject: https://www.buildbox.com/forum/index.php?threads/endless-game.6559/#post-33939 https://www.buildbox.com/forum/index.php?threads/stack-and-align-scenes-together.156/
Hey @trudnai @ahmeda89 .... I have done so and it words well...Excep for the first three scenes I have placed right after start..They are three scenes stacked so randomly will play ....But they are not appearing and getting skipped eveytime.... The distance is greater than the scene distance...still not?? What is the issue here? Any ideas?
@VectologyGames ...But Why? I need them to be different when played several times ...It is a great thing that different scenes appears and not the same....The one after this three...Means the 2 and 2_2 and onward works fine..even in random... But don't know why the first three
I only can guess that maybe your start scene is longer than the end distance of the scene 1? From the screenshot it seems scene 1 is from 1 to around 1400 and if the start scene is let's say 1500 long therefore obviously the scene 1 has no chance...
@trudnai no you can see my start scene starts on 0 and ends on 1....while the 1 scenes starts on 1 and ends on 1500....
No. Your start scene ends at 20 in the screenshot. Check the length (scene distance) of the start scene and put this value to the end distance. As well to the start distance of your next scene and so on. It needs to match exactly. I have this set up exactly like that in my Trump game and it works as it should.
I am talking about the length of the start scene not the not the start and end distance. You Decidedly can see in this screenshot I have just missed it yesterday and red just guessing. But on this screen look at the right hand side. The start scene is selected so you can see that the start scene is 2449.38 long. When your character goes off from it the distance is already almost 2450 and your scene 1 end distance is 1500 so it will be never be displayed... So you need to add that length 2450 + 1500 = 3950 should be the end distance for scene 1. Most probably you need to adjust all your start and end distances in your scenes with considering thirty length...
