@trudnai Yes, but for every 1,000 downloads on iPhone, there are about 80 on iPad. it doesn't make a big difference in terms of ranking. @dandreaco Yes, I have. The advertising campaign just ended and the game is still consistently getting a lot of daily downloads.
@fotios16 what did your wrote them to post on theire instagram page? a picture and a link ? ' Thanks for your help
I have tried 2-3 social media shout-outs people who claim to have +500k FOLLOWERS, in one case the promoter sent me screen shots of my link that he/she posted.. I did some checks based on the screen-shot to find out that it was photoshop. so be careful.
I did one from fiverr with 100k+ followers. I got 800+ likes, no comments and absolutely no downloads at all. Lol. Fake account with fake followers and fake interactions. I tried to report the user but fiverr says that nothing can be done. The shoutout still is there as this was his offer. But still, $5 thrown away. It really would be nice to know which companies are real and have already worked for some. Because going just like that doesn't help at all.
so wait... i can just say anything on fiverr... and they won't do anything? wow my wheels just started turning... how about: digital hugs... send you good energy... voodoo doll your boss... psychoanalyze your cat remotely... just to name a few... anyone wanna go in on this while the iron is hot?... im on fire here...
That's what I thought for tweets as well but how do you contact them? We should do something like that. These are all pretty good ideas!
Interesting and nice job! Didn't know that Instagram can cause a buzz for the game. I've been studying this Facebook blueprint lately I managed to boost some posts for my game nice reach but few downloads, will try maybe contacting Instagram people instead of pages. I read somewhere that Influencers is still the strongest way to market and I agree use memes, humor is powerful.
they refunded my money back in 2 of the cases. I was going to give them negative feed back but decided not to as they had my app name and I feared they could leave negative feed back on spike.
no, this is why im letting you boxers know to be careful, obviously not all promoters are fake it was just my luck.
