    Hey everyone,

Does anyone know of any pros or cons about submitting your game to the Amazon app store? If you've submitted your game there, can you share your experience?

    Thanks :)

    Hello, I prefer Google Store.

Amazon Store does not work Admob for example.
Instead of Google Services, it is Circle Game (I have not been able to work well)
    It has few users.
The application takes to publish several days.

The good news is that the APK is automatically checks for any device.

Honestly, I do not recommend it.

I actually disagree with jcalle. I've been publishing on Amazon for 2 years now and made a ton of cash from their store. However, like Google, the publishing process can be frustrating and I've fallen out with Amazon a couple of times over a copyright claim and Amazon simply removed the app, google removed it but iTunes played as a mediator.

The copyright was a typical move from King over the use of the word 'candy' for a trademark that was recently over turned. Unlike Google, Amazon employ humans, so you can send them links and proof and they swiftly over turn the decision - but with Google, its like talking to a brick wall.

I recently released a match 3 game on Amazon Underground(where amazon pay you for minutes played) and all IAPs are free and its already had 60k minutes played since release 4 weeks ago, yielding a payment of almost $140+ other currencies

If your app looks appealing, you are also more inclined to make a sale on Amazon than Google - so don't under estimate their store.

In terms of releasing, I would look to release on a Thursday or Friday for the weekend. Wednesday is ALWAYS a low day for downloads (haven't figured out why). Their process to release apps can depend - I normally plan releases but you can release normally within 24 hours once approved.

Wow very interesting. So with amazon underground users played your game for about 60k minutes and you made $140? Was this over a week? Also did you export android or amazon from buildbox for your apk? What is better when submitting game with iap's to amazon?

Amazon Underground & all Amazon App Store payment work a month behind.I released that app on July 27th but those stats are from the first 2 weeks in August. August has finished and my app had a total of 224k minutes played yielding a payment (before taxes/deductions) of $267, plus other currencies (UK was £60/$100), Euro 25.

IAP downloads has been close to 2.5k total - which I get no money for.

I have updated my app every 4 weeks to keep players interested and adding more levels to play. The game wasn't built in BB but Amazon Underground and all apks will work on Amazon store - so you could build a game using BB and sell it there.

Underground is about offering Amazon customers free stuff against the same version of the app on iOS and/or GP. So this could be free IAPs, or if you sell your app, making it actually free on Underground is an option too.

My match 3 game on Google Play has paid IAPs but those IAPs are free on Amazon Underground, which lets it qualify for the programme. But if I was selling my app for $0.99 but made it free on Amazon, that works too.

I've personally had a ton of success on Amazon and once I actually sit down and play with BB see no reason why I cant continue that(if the games are good of course) and start uploading to iTunes.

Did Revmob ads work with Amazon App Store??. I'm planning to upload my game there because it doesn't have registration fee like Google Play Store.
