Tried to look this up on the old Forum and could not access it.
Is Xcode 7 compatible with buildbox at this time?

Thanks for being there and thanks for the reply.

there's a thread running here posted by Andy Tarkinson

    *IMPORTANT*
Do not update to Xcode 7. Buildbox does not require Xcode 7 and if you update it is more than likely you will not be able to publish Buildbox games.

If you are technically inclined you can install Xcode 7 and Xcode 6 side by side. But the best advice I can give (which I do give this time every year) is do not update you development machine to Xcode 7 until Apple requires you to do so. You can still use Xcode 6 with *NO* disadvantages for another 4-6 months. Wait for Apple to work out any major bugs or issues with Xcode 7. Your games made with Xcode 6 will still run on iOS 9 with no issues.

Also make sure you keep at least one device at iOS 8 for testing purposes. You can't use Xcode 6 to run an app on a direct connected device with iOS 9.

a footnote from myself for anyone who is using 7:
If anyone HAS moved to Xcode 7 and finding their games will not compile succesfully to an iOS device for testing the issue maybe that 'Enable Bitcode' is set to YES. Changing this to NO (In Build Options) will fix the problem.

If you're using Xcode 7.x you just need to switch "Enable Bitcode" to "No" under "Build Settings" in Xcode. There's a great tutorial on YouTube showing you how to build and submit BB games to iTunes:

    Hope that helps.

Great share Dan, beat me to it :) - It's a super fast 2 click change - We've ran builds and haven't seen any weird happenings so far.

I'd always be wary of something coming up and it will likely be some time until we officially support it until we've tested it to death but this video is on point. Good share guys @Kevin W @dan_counsell :D
