Hi. Im currently using Photoshop CC 2018 for my 3D modelling needs. However, its not a real 3D modelling software so theres a lot of limitation. I'm looking for a new 3D software to explore. Do you guys have any suggestion? Would be great if it is very easy to use (you know, like Buildbox). Im looking to create cartoonish look 3D model like Voodoo and Ketchapp games.
i personally use 3dmax because its the one i learn in school, but i also really like blender because it have a lot of tutorials and its free which make it even better.
Magicavoxel - If you want cubic model or Lowpoly (marching cubes) non-cubic models. next Choice is Blender
@suth4rshan Hi i’ve Been looking at Magicavoxel recently. Looks great. I was wondering how you get textures out of it that you can use in Builbox?
I don't use BB now. Export the model as .obj and import into Blender & Bake it. Then go to UV editor and export the textures. Magicavoxel model looks better when you re-export from Blender generally
Blender. hands down. it's really difficuly and not very user friendly but once you've "blender-ed" your brain you can do some pretty powerful stuff with it...... and it's free with a ton of tutorials...... free..... dosent cost any money.....zip
