Every game i have posted on the game showcase forum he has taken and submitted as his own.
I don't mind that he takes the game play. Copy if have to, and can't create your own games.
That is the basis of most games these days. but at least change it a bit.
But the graphics in some of the games i have spent hours on making.
One game i have purchased the graphics for and have a license to use in one game only.
So i have reported it to the artist i purchased from, and he is going to take action.
Basically, Lofti Mohamed, don't be a lazy stealing #@$%^&&*(()()(*&^%$#$#@#$#@@!@###.
I don't even know what that said. LOL
Wouldn't you have more pride in your games if you put a little more effort into them than just take someone else's art work. Probably not.

Yea i saw one game in code canyon, and after i spoke to the seller he removed it and changed the graphics, so that was good.
but i never saw the others LOL

 

Re-skins, it will never end, BUT, the fact that it is being done with the help of people who stole the code instead of the original developer is a crime (figuratively if not actually)

Have you tried to file a case with Apple? If you can prove that he is copying your bbdoc and/or arts then Apple should remove the app plus revoke that guys dev license...

 

why do you clone games? can't yu create somthing new?

 

Buildbox itself clones games. Flappy bird , impossible, etc. Once a gameplay style is made, all others after aren't really clones. As the new style has been invented. A clone would be ripping the same gfx and menu setup to try and pass off like another game. But gameplay wise....once a new style is out there it Hass officially become a new type. Free for all to follow in its foot steps.

 

Cloning and copying are not the same thing. Copy is totally black activity. Cloning and reskinning are gray (one can clone or reskin their very own games and that is ok legally -- while others stealing your bbdoc file or compiled code if not reversible and reskin your game, releasing as their own which is totally not ok). Obviously it is a scum if one steals your code and release it as their own. Obviously those scumbags do not want to spend time on making anything. Grab your stuff, maybe steal some artwork from elsewhere and release the stuff. 1-2 days max and they receive free paimants until gets cought.

It is rather annoying but sometimes you cannot even sue them as they are in Russia or China or other countries where it is very difficult to get positive results from court. But you can contact to Apple to remove their app and/or ban the developer.

 

BB is a one stop clone shop itself. Every game type in it are clones. Only when someone tweaks the software enough that they come up with unique, never been done before stuff. [Color Switch]

 

i maded a game with buildbox "diamond road" and t's not a cloe , it's unic.
Now we made next , and it's awesome.

Every game made is basically a clone, some add a little different features, and graphics.
The point is, when someone reuses your artwork. That is not cloning that is just pure laziness. Some might say theft.
Its not re skinning, if you use the exact artwork.
And it will never stop.

 

this guy not only cloning games he stole one of my game, he broke or what he did in ode but i download his game it is absolutly my game, one publisher is going to publish it and for this @#!#@#@$! guy apple may not featured it.

 

Anyone that has gone through the 'reporting' route already could post a guide in the forum to help those in the community protect their creations. I am too focused on creating games to the one yard line and then starting another one to have anybody steal mine lol.
I'm sure others, however, have had to defend their rights - and a few links and/or suggestions would be very helpful...
