Hello! I've published my game for about a month now, and the stats are really weird. The impressions sky rocketed when I launched the game and drops to zero for most of the time. Is there anything I can do to possibly keep the downloads up after launching? (Get more downloads)
Im assuming your not using a Publisher then and that spike is all your friends and family at the start and then maybe occasional gamers finding it and/or more friends of friends etc. To get more downloads you need to advertise etc.
Well I didn't tell anyone about it for the first few days when it went high, so it felt pretty weird to me.
In that case probably App search engines finding your game and highlighting it on game sites and stuff + game searches in general finding it through seo and peeps downloading.
Apple will usually let your apps rank in the top 10 for first 2 weeks provided you get your keywords correct. Thereafter if your game or app is not getting enough traction it will be slide down in the rankings. It's Apple's way of knowing if you have a game or app that has good retention or not.
