Hey All,

Today marks the 18th day of development of Swoopy Space v2.0, which I've been working on continuously since it launched, and I am pleased to say that it is complete and sent and will be in your hands very soon!!!

I'n the meanwhile I have taken the liberty in creating little teasers of the update... 3 guesses what that new button does

 

The latest update crashes before loading completely on my test devise iphone 4s. I checked the reviews and it seems I'm not alone. There are several users reporting the same. What happened?

 

I've seen the reviews too, most were to do with a caching issue that was being experienced in the publishers cross promo ad, which was fixed in v1.4, I also had to switch to 4096 texture maps as there was a stutter in the animations and as you progressed in the game, but this is supported by 4s so don't think it's this, it could be an issue with BB and iOS 10, we've been experiencing a few issues with this, particularly with the internet, I've just shot support a ticket for this, it could also still be the cross promo, I'll let the guys know!

 

I'm still on ios 8.4 as ios 9 is very slow on this particular device and ios 10 doesn't even work. My guess is that it is a memory issue with the 4096 atlases. The cross promo ads are appearing correctly. The game crashes when it's between 97%-100% so this is where the atlases get loaded.

@smmsud Hey, I know you must be curious as to the how the game is progressing for research etc but I'm afraid I cannot share this data. Now and then I drop a milestone to share with everyone as a personal accolade, you can check out appannie if you're curious and even monitor leaderboard activity to kinda get a rough idea though

A few days back I saw a tweet - "Drifty Chase, Faily Rider, Swoopy Space it's never going to end is it." (SMG Studio even liked the tweet) Haha, first of all the answer is NO! We are here to stay, and I'm so glad as Apple has just Featured Swoopy Space in 77 countries including US in a New Category - Arcadey Fun - Together with Crossy Road, Shooty Skies, Faily Brakes, Steppy Pants... see where I'm going with this

Wowow this game is FANTASTIC! Usually I download a game play it for a bit then delete but this one is a keeper

@MOONRUNNER Hey, this is simple but you would need to make a frame by frame animation of the Unlock button first. Once you have your animation you simply drag this into the Unlock Button on the Multiple Unlock, make sure the animation spans the area that you would like the player to press to unlock though or you will run into issues, hope that helps
