Redirect Event Observer In Updates?

Hey,
So I’ve been wondering, if you have an Event Observer that redirects after 2 times, does the count reset if you update the game...?

Or if you physically delete the Event Observer and Drag a new one in, will that reset it?

As far as I know, it resets when you rename it.

So I renamed the Event Observer and it still didn't reset the Redirect count.
So I dragged in a new Event Observer, set it up again and gave it a unique name and it still didn't reset the Event.

Weird...

 

hmmm, that indeed is weird, I was pretty sure that did work like that. What version do you use? And maybe @Andy knows if there was a change to it. Event Observers had a lot of bugs in 2.3.0 and I haven't had the time to check if they all are fixed now. But maybe something was changed along the way.

 

I'll have to look into this. If you have more specific info to send to support that would be helpful. I don't have any open issues for the event observer that I am aware of.

Did anyone figure this out!! I want my event observer to Reset automatically in the game. Is is possible in buildbox 2?
