I hope they may release it for Buildbox as well. )
Totally forgot about Neocortex! That was pretty awesome. Back then, there were not that many ad companies, so we just had all the big ones in the software. Now, new ones pop-up that people want, so we're working internally on an API that people can use to connect any advertiser in the future. We'll supply API connectivity for the major ones, and then new advertisers, or customers, can write API for new ones that pop up. Of course us as well if there is a strong demand.
I would totally put original software's all up online for free as abandonware lolol *hint hint* [project zero etc]
One thing that should be highlighted that is about the license. Mayhem was launched about 5 years ago, and the license is no longer valid. Does that mean that the full license we have, within 5 years will no longer work? And: "There are two versions of Project Mayhem: a regular version and an artist version. The artist version doesn’t need a license file and does NOT export code. An artist or a team member can create ‘save files’ to send you but they won’t be able to steal the software." This type of license would greatly help multi-person work groups.
