So I'm not sure if I've discovered a bug or I just don't know how portals function, but I have 2 portals, both set like this (except the scale of portal 1) Once I port to portal 2, I can not re enter it to get back to portal 1... isn't that how it should function given the settings?
Yea, I was under that assumption as well and tested it and ran into same bug. I even tried changing group ID to 1 in case 0 was the cause of bug. Same issue. The assumption is exit only makes it so you cannot re-enter but toggling it on and off showed same result.
@Andy @theseanjonathanconnor is this a bug or am I missing something? I've never used portals before, so it's quite likely the HAL 9000 computer might be on to something...
Still looking into this... it appears the behavior right now is that the first portal in the group that is accessed becomes the only source for "activation" of the portal group. Verifying what the proper behavior should be.
Hi @Andy and @heathclose I'm running into this now. Any solutions found? *Edit* I found a work around! I forgot to say in the video just make sure your "search radius" is large enough to find your other portal in the same ID.
