Performance Issues

    Hey everyone,
    I'm still building my first platformer level and decided to test on my device
    (Huawei P20 Pro)
    The game is quite slow in how I intended it to be.
    Are there any tips to optimise tiles etc??

    Hi, there has been some report of optimization issues with some Android phones when casting shadows. For now, I would recommend removing shadows from characters & objects.

    Did it help any bit? Am having slow performance on my game on Android too.

    I didn't notice a great deal difference.
    I built a game off a template, I tried nearly everything I could but as I was only on the first level with 3 scenes I decided to start a fresh start with nothing.
    I added bit by bit with small tiles, my phone test is now 100% better so far.

    Things I tried :
    No shadows
    Remove unused code/nodes
    Optimised Atlases
    Made sure my tiles were small (36x36)
