    Hi guys,

I'm very new to 3D modeling, but I made this .obj mesh in blender.

It's basically a plane with an open cylinder in the middle of it. When I drop it into Buildbox though it looks like this:

the cylinder is only a half cylinder and the circle is more of a polygon. Any idea why it's generating an .obj with a different shape?

    Any help is greatly appreciated.
    Thank you
    Thomas

im no expert but your .obj has no face value on the underside so BB3 isn't rendering anything... its a modeling issue.
also the submesh you're applying in blender wont translate unless you apply it in blender then re-export.

to fix this i would extrude the model on the underside to create an outwardfacing 'face' and apply the submesh and re-export.

I would also suggest triangulating the mesh to be safe as well !
or it may have issues with holes in the mesh.
