He's scaling down by half (0.5) of the original image. @Vikas - you do not want to scale down in Buildbox, instead scale down your images outside of buildbox and then import them. i.e if you import an image that is 500px X 500px into Buildbox and scale it down by .5 (250 x 250) that image is still in the atlas as 500x500. To save space in Buildbox it's best to scale it down to 250x250 and then import it into Buildbox. By doing this you just saved spaced in the atlas.
I said that originally, which is why I'm confused. But yes, always import artwork at 1:1 to save space in Atlases and remove the additional loading time at launch.
So assume I want character 100x100 in 320x568 I am already using 50x50 my friend ☺️ This problem isn’t about how many atlas you have this is the problem related to how buildbox loads the atlas ☺️
Buildbox is optimised to load images from 2 - 3 atlases at 1:1. So if you want to stop crashing on older devices you need to remove any scaling in Buildbox and reduce the number of atlases.
Nice game! https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https://www.facebook.com/MACsBGR/posts/408182006435188&width=500\
