AppLovin launches publishing division Lion Studios Mobile developer discovery platform AppLovin has announced today the launch of a new publishing division, Lion Studios. The division pre-launched in March of this year and has already published several successful games in that period. To celebrate its launch, AppLovin is running a contest for independent developers to submit their games. The four that the company dubs the best gaming apps submitted will be awarded winnings from a prize pool of $300,000. Full story here

Each of the top four (4) Entries will receive a cash prize as provided below. Each cash prize is contingent on you entering into a publishing agreement with Lion, whereby Lion will publish the App in the relevant platform store(s) and share in any potential ad revenue for the life of the App. The cash prize will be payable by Lion upon execution of the publishing agreement and the App going live in Lion’s account in the relevant platform(s). 1st Place: $150,000 2nd Place: $75,000 3rd Place: $50,000 4th Place: $25,000 Only one prize will be awarded per Entry and only one prize will be awarded for each entrant, regardless of how many Apps you submit.
